Why is it better to train with a bottom plate?Get used to grabbing a tag during some of your training sessions. It will help you reduce the « tag stress » during your competitions by making this step « almost » automatic.
It works perfectly with a 10 to 12mm rope.It is possible to use it with smaller ropes down to 8mm.
Regarding the mounting process, the bottom plate is divided in 3 parts. A plate and a center structure (identical to our safety stopper). A simple knot is placed in its center, and 3 stainless steel screws (standard cross-head) make it easy to finish putting it in place. It is made out of ABS, a strong plastic used for example to make LEGOs: after all, we are just big kids playing in the water!
The new OCTOPUS bottom plate: asimple and efficient designfor anunbeatable quality!
Designed and tested by Swiss record holder Pascal Berger (-131m VWT ).

I used my new evolve goggles in the Vertical Green Auckland New Zealand competition on the weekend to a depth of 40 m and found them excellent. I am disappointed that the promised nose clip did not come with the goggles when they arrived and I have had no response to an email I sent regarding the nose clip. Awaiting your reply.
I had a rough start with Evolve after receiving the wrong item and getting no response from customer service. However, after leaving a review, they quickly reached out, apologized, and sent the correct item right away. I appreciate how they resolved the issue and turned things around. Mistakes can happen, but it’s how a company responds that makes all the difference, and in this case, Evolve went above and beyond to make it right.Thank you, Evolve, for turning things around and restoring my confidence!
We have tried the EQ google V2 until 60m and they are great. During the descent the pressurization is very smoth, we barely feel the pressure changing. The junction between the googles can be modulated very easlily. The view is very nice inside the google! Congratulation to Evolve team, we can finally open our eyes and increase our safety for deep dive freediving
Been using this suit all summer in Washington (Seattle). I'm typically a wimp in the cold and use a custom 6mm suit year round. I was perfectly toasty and comfortable enough to be training on the line in this suit and it's my new summer cold water go to! It's very cool that it's reversible as well so you can switch it up depending on what kind of diving you're up to. Very nice to have a female specific wetsuit option that's so high quality in this price point.
